Bridgestone Tourstage Japan introduces it's completely redesigned ViQ 460 Driver for 2008. Put in play and tested thoroughly by Tourstage Pro Ai Miyazato since August, the new ViQ is longer and more forgiving than ever thanks to an all new shape and design. The ViQ has long been one of the most popular lines in Japan for the "average" golfer. It is also the most played line of clubs on the JLPGA ladies tour. This new 3rd generation ViQ uses the basic design of the last generation and further enhances it by creating a driver that helps increase swing speed and extra attention paid to initial ball speed. This is done through the adoption of a power zone technology and swing engine design. The power zone expands the hitting area so that even off center hits still go nearly as far as dead center hits. The 2008 ViQ has the highest MOI of any ViQ driver ever made thanks to a stretched back head with deep CG. The dual fin face which extends all the way over to the crown and sole provide maximum velocity and stability, increasing the sweetspot of the face. An additional bridge in the back of the head creates extra stability from twisting and prevents loss of energy transfer on impact. The newly designed VD series shafts are made to help increase swing speed through the hitting zone with optimal unload characteristics. The new ViQ 2008 is packed with technology to help your game.
